2Good Upholstery Services
Upholstery requires a range of labour intensive techniques, some of which are centuries old. Traditional upholstery is a highly
skilled task that requires specialised tools as well as the suitable raw materials underneath the top fabric, which could include
springs, natural fibre (horsehair, wool, hessian, vegetable and cotton felt) and precision craftsmanship.
Prior to commencing work we take into consideration how your furniture was originally upholstered and pay special regard to the
original materials and techniques, which we can then replicate according to the client's wishes. We can examine your furniture's
overall condition and repair and then restore it in our Carterton workshop.
Pick Up and Drop-Off
We offer a Pick-up and Drop-off service in Masterton, Featherston, Martinborough, Carterton and Greytown. – if you can't come to us, we can arrange to pick up your chair, couch etc and then deliver it safely back to you again on completion. You can find us in Callister Place, the street behind New New World Supermarket in Carterton.
